Welcome to Isolated Unity!
Welcome to Isolated Unity! Isolated Unity is a moderate to advanced Post- Harry Potter era roleplay. After Harry died trying to protect Hermione, the Wizarding World began to fall to pieces. It is the second Voldemort year, and everyone has begun to isolate themselves from each other. The death eaters (now calling themselves the Malvina Savitri) are killing for fun, and the wizarding community is breaking links with each other. They know the only way to save themselves is to stay united.
Be sure to check out the rules before registering, thanks.

Rules and Regulations Far beyond the chitter-chatter of portraits idly conversing, students sprinting to get to class, and clattering of Hogwart’s fine china lays the Rules and Regulations board. This board contains all mandatory reads left by important individuals, all be read and reviewed on a regular basis. Please check back every once in awhile to be sure you haven’t missed something.
Character Applications Are you a young person wishing to be a part of Hogwarts roster and start your magical training? Are you a jobless wizard with sufficient qualifications and looking for a decent job at one of the best Wizarding schools across the nation? Perhaps you’re an average person, wishing to be a part of this magical realm? In all cases, you’ve come to the right place. Post your applications in here.
Accepted Applications A grand cabinet located in the depths of the Ministry of Magic contains files of those who have been accepted into Isolated Unity as a student, employee, or average wizard. Here, any given person can search through the cabinet and find a certain bit of any information on any character accepted into the realm. Please, do not post anywhere outside the OOC sections if you do not have a character accepted in the files.
Questions and Concerns Although we have rules set in stone, and a great variety of places to roleplay, we still run a democracy. Your voice can be heard, and any questions, concerns, or comments can be posted in this board. Please be sure to search through prior threads in order to ensure your question hasn’t already been answered.

Ground Floor The ground level is a floor of great beauty and is incredibly welcoming for all new comers to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They will be stunned by the beauty of the rooms in the ground level, and one can smell mouth-watering food from any given point on the flow. From the dazzling chandeliers to the elegant staircases, this sight is one that the eyes of young students will always be able to remember.

First Floor The first floor is always busy with activity much like the Entrance and Great Halls. There are a few offices located here, many corridors, a classroom, as well as the Hospital Wing. Plenty happens on the first floor; from Charms and Herbology to Care of Magical Creatures and the Hospital Wing, it can be quite the amusing floor.
Second Floor The second floor is nothing special. In fact, it is incredibly tediously dull. With just a couple offices, a classroom, and a broom closet, the second floor is one of the least active and boring in the castle; unless it is game time, prank time, Peeves stuffing wastebaskets over your head, or class time, there is hardly anything to do here.

Third Floor The third floor is nothing more than a gallery of armour as well as a class full of confusing numbers. There is, however, one thing that makes the floor unique and not like the others and that is the Prefect's Bathroom. It's filled with a maginifcant painting, marvelous sculptures, and don't forget- the amazingly large bath tub, filled with all of your favorite scents. The floor can be fun, it can be boring; one makes it what he makes it.

Fourth Floor The fourth floor is exactly in the middle of the castle - there are four floors above, and five below, making it the middle of the school. However, this does not mean it is the most interesting. This floor is mainly consumed up of offices and classrooms. Nothing too interesting, but nothing too boring. If you are one that loves Defence Against the Dark Darts, then this floor was made for you.
Fifth Floor The fifth floor is often described as the floor of interest, anxious feelings, and pride. The fifth floor is massive in size, compact with the school library as well as the trophy room. From studying or feeling pride for your house in the trophy room, there's always something to do or at least look at. This floor is also impeccably polished on Headmaster's command, and incredibly slippery.

Sixth Floor Due to the lack of activity, the sixth floor can be classified as intimidating, but boring nonetheless. The floor doesn't contain much that would interest young pupils. Unless you have a divine love of Muggle Studies and storage closets, you're pretty much out of luck, kid. Very few are seen on this floor on weekends except for perhaps, a lost firstie, bellowing for help.

Seventh Floor The last numbered floor of Hogwarts, and one of the most interesting in the building, the Seventh Floor stands proudly. This floor is filled with all kinds of goodies such as the Headmaster's office, the Divinations classroom, an old, unsued classroom, and a special room. The floor doesn't often boom with excitement, but if a student is in search of something needed, then the floor can be a very amusing place indeed.

Towers Behold, the towers of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There are towers of all shapes and sizes; up here, a student will run into quite a few smart students as well as the brave ones, for the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw common rooms are placed in this high place. Your ears could also be irritated with the noises from the owlery, but don't fret, most of the mean ones are caged.

Hogwarts Grounds Known as one of the most popular hangouts around for students, the grounds are always full with some type of excitement. The manicured lawns stretches across the land, almost farther than the eye can see, and is covered with trees as well as a gorgeous lake. Towards the east rest mountains, barely above where the landscape touches the horizon. The grounds are well known for beautiful days as well as rainy ones, there is always something fun to do outside.
Hogsmeade Hogsmeade is the only entirely wizarding village in Great Britain. It's a picturesque village filled with cozy houses and shops. It is located down the road from Hogwarts and is a favorite place of the students. Whether you stop in The Three Broomsticks for a warm butterbeer or skip over to Zonko's Joke Shop for a laugh you are sure to have a good time.
London Located in southeastern England, this bustling capital is a hot spot for wizards. It is the center of wizarding commerce and government. Despite being overrun by Muggles, the Wizarding populace has made itself concrete and unknown to anyone but the wizards increasing the population. Lately, however, signs have rested outside Muggle shops reading 'closed', for the increasing death rates have kept them for wishing to earn even money.
Knockturn Alley With such a dark age of Magic rolling carelessely overhead, any street walked upon seems eeiry and ignites that sixth sense. However, no other alley is quite like Knockturn Alley. Knockturn Alley is a dingy alley where everything is devoted to the Dark Arts. Stores here sell cursed objects, giant spiders, shrunken heads and more. Be most wary of street vendors who will try just about anything to make the sale.
Diagon Alley Entering through the Leaky Cauldron (three across, two down), this cheery street is a hub of wizarding activity. Filled with shops that every witch and wizard will need, it is always bustling. The students, of course use the stores to get supplies and other items. Although some of the welcoming hospitality has left when the era of the infamous trio left, don't let that stop you from some weekend shopping.
Other Wizarding Places If the wizarding community was limited to only four locations, they - like the giants and dragons - too would be in serious trouble and be killing each other off... Not that this isn't already happening. Moving on, this board is for all those other Wizarding Places. Create your own shops, visit Magical historical sites, and visit the dragons in Romania if you wish. Just keep in mind your characters boundaries.

Muggle World
Muggle United Kingdom The United Kingdom by many countries is often called paradise; their sights the most beautiful, their people the most helpful and lovely, their lakes the bluest, and their mountains the highest. This was before the scare of the Wizarding Second War, and now, the United Kingdom seems to be isolating themselves against the world. This board is for all your non-magical threads in the United Kingdom.
Other Muggle Places Although we all want to believe it; the United Kingdom is not the center of the Earth. The United Kingdom is only a pinprick on the map, and therefore would make no sense to have no other place. These other places are everything other Muggle location on the planet. Visit the United States during the holidays, pay to see Italy; do whatever you please as long as this abides the rules.
Archives Information All good things must come to an end. We follow this quote to a tee; we aren't going to allow threads to rot in their original locations. Every thread will eventually be moved to a sub-board, where it'll rot there. All other information on the topic is located in here.
Archives Beyond the idle chitchats between students, and further in future than the latest sub-plot lays the archive. All finished and unactive threads will be moved here to be housed for eternity. Want to check something you said prior so you stay cohesive? Or perhaps bored out of your mind and wanting to have a good read? This is the place to visit.
OOC Chat Despite being a roleplaying site, Isolated Unity has ample opportunity for out of character chat. Need someone to fill that open thread laying there all lonely? Looking for a place to rant about life? This is the place to do it. Also, any of your forum games such as duck, duck, goose will be located here along with various out of character chats.
Plot Database Everyone in Hogwarts knows at least one person, and in the majority of cases, more. This is place to sign up for relationships, friendships, enemies, or just someone to come across while in play if you're too lazy to play it out. This is the simplest way to get a few subplots or just random ideas wanting to be played on the forum. Make friends, find true love, or create your worst enemy without prior roleplaying.
Realmcrafter Inside the middle of an otherwise empty room lies an aged, leather-bound book. Within this book lies all canon information and other important information of the 21st century's magical realm. Information from the best Quidditch brooms, to who has been winning the house cup is located here. Be sure to check here before claiming to have the best broom, and to check the masterlist of spells per year to be sure your character isn't Mary-Sue magical-wise.
Plug Board This board is guest-friendly, and allows anyone to post any roleplaying or graphical site as long as they follow the rules inside. Be sure to read them carefully, as any forum not abiding rules will be deleted off of the board. Information related to advertising Isolated Unity is also held in this board; be sure to read it.
Graphic Requests Want one of those spiffy forum graphics, but simply don't have any software than paint? This is the place to go. Here you can request a banner or avatar that you've been dying to have, or open up your own shop, so people can request from you directly. Also, the infamous signature of the week contest is held here.
